Evaluation Summary Notes-Participants found the facilitator's modeling, engagement and relatability most impactful
-Many highlighted how Cheryl demonstrated what PBL looks like in practice - especially showing that PBL can work across grade levels and subjects, including Regents-level courses
-They appreciated the practical strategies, clear examples and the facilitator's responsiveness and encouragement
Needed Changes-The main suggestion was for more time - several participants wanted additional days to explore the PBL library and plan implementation
-Time for planning and collaboration was also a consistent challenge
Next Steps-Participants plan to begin implementing PBL in "baby steps" adapting one or more units to follow a PBL structure
-They intend to integrate more inquiry-based learning, allow students to drive learnin and balanca direct instruction with project work
-Many now see PBL as manageable, structured and adaptable to their existing curriculum rather than as a large end-of-unit project
