Seminar Short DescThis will be an informational session to prepare teachers, coordinators, and administrators for implementation of the new NYS Required Science Investigations.
Seminar Full DescAny teacher, coach, coordinator, or administrator that would like information about the NYS Science Investigations is encouraged to attend. The most up-to-date information will be shared as well as recommendations for implementation. The first half of the morning will be dedicated to a general overview of the Investigations and their purpose and benefits. Then participants will have the opportunity to work set up an investigation as a teacher and work through the activity as a student. All questions will be answered and participants will leave with less anxiety and more confidence about this state requirement.
