Seminar Short DescParticipants will experience selected lessons and activities from one of the kits and get to interact with the materials and online resources in addition to an overview of the new NYS Science Learning Standards, 3-dimensional learning, and use of the science lab notebook.
Seminar Full DescParticipants will experience selected lessons and activities from one of the kits and get to interact with the materials and online resources. The morning will include a brief overview of the NYS Science Learning Standards and 3-dimensional learning. Then participants will go through selected activities from one of the Lab-Aids kits. In the afternoon, we will discuss the overall structure of a Lab-Aids kit and all of the resources available to teachers.
