Seminar Short Desc | The 6-12 Mathematics Collaborative Learning Community allows educators responsible for teaching middle/high school students in math-related courses to engage in professional dialogue around NYSED initiatives, best practice, and other areas of interest. |
Seminar Full Desc | Based on regional requests from administrators and teachers, the middle/high school math CLC will continue to meet as grades 6 - 12. Our focus for the summer will include revisiting resources for the Next Generation Learning Standards (such as the roadmap, scaffolding guides, snapshots, etc.), exploring instructional practices, and revising curriculum resources. With district approval, time can be given to individual participants to go over any released data from last year's assessments. |
