Seminar Short Desc | Many teachers struggle with how to support students with varying needs, strengths, and identities in inclusive learning environments. Through Universal Design for Learning (UDL), teachers learn how to proactively identify barriers in lesson design and instruction and design flexible learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners, including those who require significant support and those who need additional challenge. In this session, we will explore the basics of UDL. |
Seminar Full Desc | Educators often encounter challenges in addressing the diverse needs, strengths, and identities of students within inclusive learning environments. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) offers a proactive framework that enables teachers to identify and reduce barriers in instructional design, creating flexible and accessible learning experiences for all students including those requiring significant support as well as those needing additional challenge. This session will provide an introduction to the core principles of UDL and offer practical strategies and tools to support the development of inclusive, student-centered classrooms. |
