Seminar Objectives | Understand the Science of Reading: Educators will develop a comprehensive understanding of the cognitive processes and research-based principles that underlie effective reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Identify and Address Reading Challenges: Participants will learn to diagnose common reading difficulties, interpret assessment data, and apply targeted instructional strategies to support diverse learners, including students with dyslexia or other learning disabilities. Implement Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction: Educators will be able to apply evidence-based teaching practices in their classrooms that enhance reading proficiency and promote literacy development for students across all grade levels. Utilize Differentiated Instruction Techniques: Teachers will acquire skills to adapt their reading instruction to meet the needs of individual students, employing a variety of approaches to ensure that all learners achieve reading success. |
