Seminar Short DescThis workshop will bring awareness to the Social Studies Framework. During our time together, teachers will become familiar with the assessment structure process and examine instructional strategies to enhance the student experience and develop their skills.
Attendance for all three days is not required and each day will have a specific focus.
Day 1 - ES/MS Grade level content and instruction
Day 2 - MS/HS Grade level content and instruction
Day 3 - Topical aspects of content
Seminar Full DescThis workshop will bring awareness to the Social Studies Framework, topics related to current trends in the discipline, and focus on interdisciplinary and topical instructional strategies across grade levels. During our time together, teachers will become familiar with ways to incorporate topical content pieces into the new assessment structure. Teachers will process and examine instructional strategies to enhance the student experience and develop their skills through various strategies and activities that address content and the practices outlined in the NYS Framework.
Attendance for all three days is not required and each day will have a specific focus.
