| Workshop Full Desc | Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming a powerful tool for teaching, learning, planning, and productivity. In this interactive workshop, educators will explore how AI can be used thoughtfully and effectively to support classroom instruction, lesson design, student engagement, differentiation, and professional workflow.
Participants will be introduced to a variety of AI tools, including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, MagicSchool AI, and other educator-friendly platforms. Throughout the session, the facilitator will model practical uses of AI and demonstrate a range of prompting techniques that educators can immediately apply in their own contexts. Participants will learn how to craft stronger prompts, refine AI-generated responses, evaluate outputs for accuracy and appropriateness, and adapt resources to meet the needs of their students. This workshop is designed to be hands-on and practical. Educators will have time to experiment with AI tools, practice prompt writing, explore classroom applications, and create or customize resources they can take back to their classrooms. Examples may include lesson ideas, rubrics, writing prompts, differentiated activities, formative assessments, parent communication drafts, student support materials, and classroom management resources. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clearer understanding of how artificial intelligence can enhance not replace the work of educators. They will leave with practical strategies, sample prompts, and ready-to-use resources that can support future classroom planning and instruction. |
