Workshop Full DescThis workshop will provide the opportunity for librarians to review the research process and help students succeed in the research process. We'll discuss narrowing down a topic and forming a research question, reviewing effective searches on scholarly databases, locating and using helpful resources for evaluating information, and organizing notes in Noodletools.

Workshop ObjectivesAs a result of this workshop, participants will:
* review K-12 research scaffold
* review how to guide students in narrowing a topic and developing a research question
* navigate databases in GALE and use various tools to differentiate instruction
* review Noodletools
Assessment of LearningAs a result of this workshop, participants will:
* be equipped to share the research scaffold with admin and teachers
* select a topic for research based on personal interest
* use GALE to locate peer reviewed articles, narrow the topic, and develop a research question
* use Noodletools to organize notes, cite articles, create an outline, view student and teacher dashboards
Workshop Topics, Concepts & ResourcesUtilize a K-12 research scaffold to guide research projects and converse with admin teams; Use Noodletools as a student and teacher; Review the research process.
