Seminar Short Desc | This will be an informational session to prepare teachers, coordinators, and administrators for implementation of the new NYS Required Science Investigations. |
Seminar Full Desc | Any teacher, coach, coordinator, or administrator that would like information about the NYS Science Investigations is encouraged to attend. The most up-to-date information will be shared as well as recommendations for implementation. The first half of the morning will be dedicated to a general overview of the Investigations and their purpose and benefits. Then participants will have the opportunity to work set up an investigation as a teacher and work through the activity as a student. All questions will be answered and participants will leave with less anxiety and more confidence about this state requirement. |
