| Seminar Objectives | Participants will:
Explore basic data warehouse reports and visualizations. Discover any new changes and reports in Data Warehouse. Collaborate on ways to use these reports back in district. |
| Work Summary | DW Reports were prepared for the group ahead of time.
-Participants reviewed the district and grade-level reports for math and ELA; the reports that they requested ahead of time -Participants looked for strengths and struggles connected to NG standards & classroom instruction -Participants created a district-level plan & grade level plans to celebrate successes and target struggles |
| Assessment of Learning | -We were at a conference table, so we had whole-group discussion and Q & A. |
| Evaluation Summary Notes | -The process went well. The coaches have access to DW, so I was able to show them how to use DW to find additional reports as needed. |
| Needed Changes | -Some specific information about the group of coaches would have been helpful. I didn't quite understand how the coaching positions worked. (I do now) |
| Next Steps | -I think they were happy to see how Salamanca students were performing on the EOY NYSED assessments. They knew what to target to close the gaps they were seeing.
-They wanted more time to work with the data. They were very thankful for the opportunity. |
