| Seminar Topics, Concepts & Resources | -Expanded teacher content knowledge and skills necessary to provide technological instructional strategies to improve student writing in multiple formats through media.
-Through research-based strategies, the teacher could apply what she learned in the classroom to work with students on expanding their technology and writing skills. |
| Seminar Objectives | -Work with 10th grade ELA Teacher and students on integrating and evaluating content to be presented in diverse formats and media to showcase in student electronic portfolios.
-Use technology including the Internet, to produce and publish writing within student electronic portfolios. -Make strategic use of digital media and visual displays of data to express information and enhance understanding of electronic portfolio presentations. Assessment: -The 10th grade ELA teacher modeled what she learned by helping her students build new knowledge and skills of how to showcase literacy through various media formats. -The teacher provided the students a safe electronic environment where students can display student work for parents, families, and community members to view. |
