Work SummaryParticipants will:
-Examine key mathematics strategies that work best at each phase of learning and provide built-in lessons and exercises
-Understand learning intentions and success criteria and why they are so critical to student growth
-Explore the three phases of learning - surface, deep, and transfer
-Discover how to use effective size and other assessment tools to measure student learning
Assessment of Learning-Discussions
-Questions and Answers
Evaluation Summary Notes-Participants enjoyed the pace of the workshop and the breakout activities
Needed Changes-Providing access to the materials.
-Several participants did not have Google accounts so we ended up having to email materials and also provide a OneDrive link.
Next Steps-Participants learned more about the Barometer of Influence, effect sizes, surface, deep, and transfer learning activities.
-Participants would like to have any opportunity to continue this learning throughout the K-5 Math CLC's next year.
