Evaluation Summary Notes | -Meeting people from across CA BOCES and working with them to determine the ways what we are learning can be applied
-Breakout activities -Interactions and group activities -Enjoyed the window training learning where I am at and where I want to be and not want to be -Videos and circle -Language of shame, guilt, etc. |
Needed Changes | -Not running the entire day in a circle
-Participants find the rocking of chairs distracting and would prefer to be socially distanced at a table so mask can be removed -Would like more training exercises and maybe like real scenario exercises on what to do or what could be done in difficult situations that could occur in the classroom -I think guided notes could be helpful -Sooner in the school year |
Next Steps | -Thank you for all you do
-Overall great day -Facilitators are very knowledgeable and welcoming -Help me to learn to talk to students more mindfully -Looking forward to Day 2 and deepening my understanding of Restorative Justice and putting skills into practice |
