Seminar Full Desc | Identity Mapping is a powerful writing task that gives high-school students an opportunity to explore what makes them unique. Students choose some aspect of their identity: race, class, gender, religion, ability, culture, etc., and reflect on it in greater detail. Then students will research and analyze contemporary resources that connect to their identity interest and develop an argument. For this session, we will explore the process of identity mapping as a foundation to research, text analysis, and writing.
