Seminar Short DescThe 3-5 ELA/Math CLC is designed to provide elementary teachers time to collaborate, network and receive the most current updates from NYSED.
ELA Focus will be on capacity building for next generation standards, writing across the genres, ELA benchmarking, rubric, vocabulary development, interactive read aloud, questioning and engagement.
Math Focus will be on capacity building for next generation standards, CBT platform for the 2-day assessments, math benchmarking with pre-assessments.

ELA Focus will be on capacity building for next generation standards, writing across the genres, ELA benchmarking, rubric, vocabulary development, interactive read aloud, Life Long Practices for Readers and Writers, Questioning and engagement.

Math Focus will be on capacity building for next generation standards, CBT platform for the 2-day assessments, math benchmarking with pre-assessments, differentiation, math strategies for engagement, and the mathematical practices.

All session will focus on ideas for differentiation, engagement and SEL.
