Seminar Full Desc | Enough students are suspended every year to fill forty-five Super Bowl stadiums. - US Department of Education
Whether a student is suspended, sent to the office, or disrupting a lesson, valuable class time is missed by the student and those affected by their actions. Restorative practices serve as an alternative to suspensions and other punitive approaches to misbehavior by providing conscious strategies to repair the harm caused by misbehavior. The restorative approach emphasizes students and adults owning their actions and repairing the harm. |
