| Seminar Full Desc | What is a reliable resource? What influences reasoning? This session on fake news will provide authentic learning activities that librarians can use when collaborating with teachers on this topic, or when instructing scheduled classes in the library. Librarians are invited to share clever solutions to problems, increasing efficiency in library management or effectiveness in instruction. This workshop will provide stations for exploring technology and activities for a library maker space. |

-Fake news was a major topic and it was good to get ideas and information to assist students -Cece is always a wonderful source of information that's relevant to my daily job Still need: -Time to implement, experiment, money -Develop ideas -Would love to get more library hacks/tech pets/maker space ideas Action plan: -Teach lessons on Fake News -Buy a cube -Develop grade level appropriate activities to talk about Fake News -Look more into some maker space items and work more with evaluating websites -Incorporate Intraland into my library plans |
