Seminar Objectives-Participants will develop an understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used as an instructional support to increase access, engagement and participation for diverse learners. Participants will identify ways AI tools can support differentiation, scaffolding, accommodations and the development of accessible instructional materials
Work Summary-Introduced AI as a tool for increasing instructional access and supporting learner variability. Explored ways AI can assist educators in differentiating instruction and adapting materials for students with varying academic, communication, behavorial and learning needs. Examined practical AI applications for creating accessible instructional materials
Assessment of Learning-Participants demonstrated understanding through active participation in hands-on AI activites and guided practice. Participants developed and/or adapted an instructional resource using AI based on an identified learner or instructional need. Participants applies prompting strategies to generate differentiated or accessible instructional materials.
