Participants are asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. to allow time to get settled and participate in an overview and networking session. The hybrid event will officially begin at 9:00 a.m. with NYSED.
Seminar Objectives-Understand the core principles of Performance-Based Learning and Assessment (PBLA) and their application in middle and high school settings.
-Examine the alignment between PBLA, NY Inspires, and New York s Educational Assessment Strategy, identifying implications for local implementation.
-Identify actionable next steps to strengthen or implement performance-based learning and assessment practices within their schools or districts.
