| Work Summary | -I suggested to Paige that it may be helpful to have the elementary librarian go to Randolph Elementary School Library and observe Carli Wright's teaching stations set up in the library.
Like Allegany-Limestone's elementary library, Randolph also has soft seated risers in the corner of the library that can foster misbehavior. I shared the link for Empire State Information Fluency Continuum and benchmarks skills for grades K-12. School librarians are strongly encouraged to use this guide for teaching library skills. I shared the K-12 scaffold for research skills that incorporate the Computer Science and Digital Fluency standards. This is a helpful tool to use when collaborating with content area teachers who are planning research projects with students |
