Come join us for an exciting two days filled with best practices in mathematical instruction. Participants will have flexibility to develop a schedule that meets their diverse professional development needs.
Seminar Full DescThis micro session will support teachers in the transition from Common Core to the Next Generation Learning Standards in mathematics. In addition, it will support teachers in designing instruction that makes the general education curriculum more accessible to all students without interfering with the rigor of grade level content. This session will share resources including the Supporting All Students Resources Guide while focusing on deepening understanding of what instructional scaffolding means and how scaffolds can be used to support student learning, and how to effectively plan and deliver scaffolded instruction in the classroom
