Seminar Short DescCome join others in the region as we discover what Professional Learning Communities (PLC's) are, what their benefit to student achievement is, and the best strategies for implementing a PLC at your school.
Seminar Full DescCreating a collaborative school culture is an on-going process. Providing teachers with time and support to share data, instructional strategies, and student engagement techniques is challenging, but necessary as we work to improve our schools. When successfully implemented and sustained, the Professional Learning Communities (PLC's) model results in school improvement. Come join others in the region as we dive into an experience that recognizes the value of PLC s, walks through the process of implementation, and offers strategies to sustain the PLC. This multi-day workshop includes collaboration time to assess and revise current school practices in order to align with the PLC model.
