Participants will learn how students can plan, script, record, and share podcasts that build communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills. Educators will leave with classroom-ready ideas and time to begin planning a podcast project for their students.
Seminar Full DescIn this hands-on workshop, educators will explore how podcasting can be used as a meaningful tool for Project-Based Learning. Participants will learn how students can plan, script, record, edit, and share podcasts that demonstrate understanding, build student voice, and connect classroom learning to real-world audiences. The session will include classroom-ready project ideas, sample podcast formats, planning templates, and time for educators to begin designing a podcast project they can bring back to their students.

This workshop will also connect podcasting to the NYS Portrait of a Graduate by focusing on communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, civic readiness, and real-world problem solving. Participants will leave with practical strategies for using podcasting to help students share ideas, explain learning, tell stories, conduct interviews, and create authentic products connected to classroom standards.
