Seminar Short DescParticipants will be asked to bring an actual observation report (with redaction of identifiers like teacher names, student names, etc.) for others to review. We will engage in structured feedback sessions with one another regarding the quality of the evidence collected as well as alignment to the Danielson and NYSUT rubrics. We will also begin discussions around the book, You Don’t Have to Be Bad to Get Better by Candi McKay.
Seminar Full DescInter-rater reliability is one of the assurances districts must commit to when signing off on their APPR for both 3012-c and 3012-d. These sessions are offered as a means for districts to engage in activities providing continued practice and feedback around reliably collecting evidence and aligning that evidence to their teacher practice rubric. Our sessions will focus on Danielson and NYSUT rubrics.

Evaluators do not have to attend all three sessions, but we believe attending all three will provide evaluators with the greatest benefit.
