| Workshop Full Desc | This workshop is designed to certify school personnel as a Suicide Safety for School Staff Trainer. Upon completion of the workshop, the trainer will have the ability to facilitate a one hour in-person training in schools that is designed to:
1. Review the importance of suicide prevention in schools 2. Describe the characteristics of an at risk student 3. Outline a school staff member s critical but limited role and clarify a building level referral process 4. Provide information about community resources |
