Workshop Full DescParticipation in this workshop provides educators with free, hands-on classroom kits that teach about alternative fuels, climate change, energy efficiency, conservation, and our energy sources. In addition, participating teachers will be provided with Home Energy Efficiency Kits to send home with students to their families. All kits and materials are being provided to teachers through funding from the National Fuel Conservation Incentive Program.
Together, the families install energy efficiency and conservation measures shower flow bags, outlet gasket insulators, faucet aerators, water-saving shower heads, and other tools. Materials provide structure for students to work with their families to save energy and integrate their efforts with a classroom activity.
Thanks to National Fuel sponsorship, there is no cost to attend the workshop. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Substitute costs will be reimbursed to school districts and substitute reimbursement forms will be provided at the workshop.
