| Workshop Full Desc | "Piecing it Together" day is to provide social studies teachers the opportunity to revisit the changes brought about through the adoption of the New York State Social Studies Framework and how instruction has shifted through the Common Core Learning Standards. Teachers will see examples of the instructional shifts and learn strategies for incorporating student inquiry into their instructional practice. Teachers will also be brought up to date on the upcoming changes to the NYS Regents Exams beginning in 2018 with the Global History and Geography II Regents examination. |
