Workshop Full DescEach topic in this course provides the new librarian with an understanding of the school library system. Upon completion of this course the librarian will know how to access and use the union catalog; will be aware of the purpose and function of CASLS and its committees; will know how to access the IFC and its role in library curriculum; will understand the 510 Coser; and will learn where to access resources that assist with weeding, collection development, and research resources for the emerging reader.
