Overview of computer-based testing (CBT) and the NYS CBT initiative Overview of the various Questar platforms involved for testing, administering, and scoring 10:00am-11:00am Lessons Learned from computer-based field testing in 2016 Questar/NYSED CBT roadmap and how the NYS field feedback informs decisions about the future of CBT in NYS 11:00am-12:00pm CBT technical requirements for CBT Details about the difference between computer based operational testing and field testing Deep-dive into the Nextera Test Delivery System BREAK FOR LUNCH 1:00pm-2:00pm Nextera Admin and how test administration will occur on a granular level, including a review of access roles, student setup, indications about student testing status Review of new features for RIC-Level Users for supporting districts and schools Focus on schools needs for those schools administering either CBT operational testing or field testing in spring 2017 2:00pm-2:30pm High-Level overview of ScorePoint (Reminder: there will be separate trainings the first week of March for ScorePoint training, for those schools/districts that are administering operational CBT.) 2:30pm-4:00pm CBT Round Table Discussion*: Q&A discussion where attendees are encouraged to ask NYSED questions and share their own CBT experiences. **At the discretion of the RIC location, the CBT Round Table Discussion can be moved to a different time within the day to meet attendee needs. |
