Workshop Full DescThis interactive workshop introduces educators in grades 3 12 to the NYS Portrait of a Graduate and demonstrates how Project-Based Learning can support the development of these competencies. Participants will explore digital tools, including Canva, Book Creator, Scratch, and AI resources such as Magic School and ChatGPT. These tools can be used to design engaging, creative learning experiences for students to help align to the attributes outlined in the NYS Portrait of a Graduate.

Through demonstrations and guided creation time, educators will build a ready-to-use PBL project that includes student instructions, a rubric, or an exemplar. By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical tools, strategies, and resources to implement digital PBL in their classrooms and enhance student creativity, communication, and critical thinking.

Workshop Objectives-To introduce participants to NYS Portrait of a Graduate.
-To introduce participants to digital tools including Canva, Book Creator, Magic School AI, and other digital resources that support Project Based Learning (PBL).
-To provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently introduce these digital tools to their students so they may guide them through the process of creating their own projects.
-Participants will have some time to work on creating a project that they can use in their own curriculum.
