Workshop Full DescCalling all new teachers! This offering is open to teachers in their first year experience, supporting them in their instructional and professional practice. Through the CLC experience, teachers will receive a bevy of tools and techniques associated with engagement, management, planning, assessment, and differentiation. Each session will provide strategies within those focuses with learning centered around Teaching Standards I-VII. As an added element, new teachers will receive insight and feedback from former Teacher Academy participants and gain advice on how to manage their first years as a professional in education. There will be 4 sessions offered during the year. Taking into account the recent challenges that districts have faced with substitutes and enable teachers to attend and participate in workshops we will be offering multiple days for each of the 4 sessions. Teachers DO NOT need to attend both days for each session, but are encouraged to attend the day for each session that works best with their district.
