Workshop Full DescJoin us for an in-person session focused on the NYSED P-3 Literacy Attestation, due September 1.
This session will provide a guided review of the required documents, an overview of the survey components, and support in using the NYSED evaluation tool to assess how district curricula align with the Science of Reading.

With the attestation deadline approaching, this timely and relevant session is designed to assist districts as they work toward successful completion of the survey.
Workshop AudienceAdministrator or Literacy Team Leader/Curriculum Coordinator who will be utilizing the tool and attesting to alignment via survey.

Workshop ObjectivesParticipants will locate and navigate key NYSED documents related to new P-3 Literacy regulations and requirements.

Participants will examine the NYSED P-3 Best Practices Guide and curriculum evaluation tool to understand how to attest to alignment with the Science of Reading.

Participants will engage in guided work time to review their current literacy programs and apply the evaluation tool to assess alignment with the Big 5 components of reading instruction.
