Workshop Full DescJoin us for a comprehensive workshop on Project-Based Learning (PBL), designed to help educators understand, create, and implement this dynamic approach to teaching. We ll start by tackling the driving question that guides all PBL: how can we make learning deeply engaging and relevant for students? The workshop kicks off with an overview of what PBL truly is and why it s a powerful method for promoting critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application in the classroom. Participants will dive into an article debrief to unpack research-backed strategies, followed by sessions on incorporating student voice and choice. Educators will explore available tools and resources to support PBL, then move into unit creation, where they ll apply these concepts to design their own projects. Dedicated work time allows for focused development, and in the afternoon, participants will share their plans through presentations, fostering collaboration and feedback among peers. The day wraps up with reflections, closure, and evaluations, equipping attendees with a solid foundation in PBL and practical, ready-to-use project plans for their classrooms.
