Workshop Full DescThe workshop on "ELA and Computer Science and Digital Fluency (CSDF) Crossover Event" is designed to equip grade-level teachers with the knowledge and skills to seamlessly integrate CSDF standards into their ELA curriculum. Throughout the workshop, participants will gain a thorough understanding of CSDF standards and their importance in preparing students for the digital age. They will analyze the alignment between CSDF and NGLS ELA Standards, identifying connections and examples within their own grade-level curriculum. Through collaborative activities and discussions, teachers will explore practical strategies for incorporating CSDF concepts into ELA instruction. By the end of the workshop, participants will develop personal alignment plans and SMART goals for integrating CSDF into their teaching practice, ensuring that students receive comprehensive preparation in both computer science and digital fluency alongside their ELA education.

To accommodate our large CABOCES region, this workshop will be offered twice in two different locations. The October 29th location will be at CABOCES Barn, and the December 5th location will be at Belmont BOCES.
