Workshop Full DescThis workshop is designed to provide teachers with an introduction to the MicroBit - a small, programmable computer that can be used in a wide range of educational settings. Over the course of the workshop, teachers will learn the basics of coding using the MicroBit, explore a range of programming activities, and gain practical ideas for incorporating MicroBits into their lessons. By the end of the workshop, teachers will have the confidence and skills to start using MicroBits in their classrooms to enhance student learning and engagement.

Workshop Objectives- To provide teachers with an understanding of the capabilities and potential uses of MicroBits in the classroom.
- To teach teachers the basics of coding using the MicroBit platform.
- To provide practical ideas and activities for incorporating MicroBits into lesson plans across various subject areas.
- To inspire teachers to use MicroBits as a tool for promoting problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills in their students.
- To build teachers' confidence in using MicroBits and other technology tools for educational purposes.
Assessment of Learning- Participant learning will be assessed by participating in a "MicroBit Challenge". Participants will work in small groups and be given a task to solve using the MicroBit.
- Participants will work collaboratively to create several lesson ideas that incorporate MicroBits
