Workshop Full DescPlease join the School Library System Association of NY (SLSA) for a full-day professional development designed for school librarians on media literacy. Participants will define media literacy and how it integrates into their curriculum. We will dive into the role school librarians play in teaching and supporting media literacy instruction, and hear from NY school librarians (PK12) who are actively teaching media literacy skills to their students.
Participants will be guided through Project Look Sharp tools, including new PD kits for ML3 and hundreds of lessons for curriculum integration.
