Workshop Full DescBoth public and school libraries share the same goal: to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons and access to information in a variety of formats. However, collaboration can be difficult depending on public library hours and staffing, and school librarians' schedules. This workshop will focus on public library programming, collaboration, instructional skills, and building relationships. Focus areas include: children's programming and teens. Topics include managing behavior, reading levels, and age appropriate activities for increasing engagement.
