Workshop Full DescLast year's newest CLC for our BOCES is announcing its third year. The role of an instructional coach is becoming a more prominent one in school districts. From district to district, the roles and responsibilities vary and there is not always training and support around how to provide high-quality coaching or professional learning. This CLC's aim is to build a network of instructional coaches throughout our region in order to support coaches who support teachers.

Specific topics throughout this CLC will be dependent on the needs of the group, but possible topics could include: Coaching Models, Adult Learning, Designing Professional Learning for Adult Professionals, and Best Practices in Facilitation.

Workshop ObjectivesParticipants will:
- Support one another in their roles of supporting fellow educators.
- Establish a network of instructional coaches in the CA BOCES region.
- Focus on best practices in coaching, adult learning, professional learning, and facilitation.
Assessment of LearningOngoing feedback, question and answer, discussion, implementation and troubleshooting, possible book studies, networking via Microsoft Teams.
