Teachers will learn of the STEM related careers in advanced manufacturing. Rather than touring area manufacturers, this year we will be meeting with young professionals to learn of their pathway to a manufacturing career in our area. We will also have a panel discussion with manufacturers and school administrators, giving teachers and administrators a chance to share with manufacturers what is happening in their schools. The panel discussions will be recorded and we will then decide how we can use these to help our students, teachers, parents, and manufacturers. Explore the pathways to manufacturing careers Why should we encourage students to go into manufacturing related careers? Who is choosing to go into manufacturing? How do we best inform students of possible careers in manufacturing? What can Dream It. Do It. do to help students, teachers, and parents to be informed? What are our schools offering in the area of STEM? |
