Workshop Full DescDr. Eric Twadell, Superintendent of Adlai Stevenson High School will lead us through learning about rethinking instructional leadership.

Have educators ever faced a more challenging year of schooling in the United States? Among the thousands of insights and realizations that we have during the past 15 months, one of the most significant is that we have an opportunity to rethink what teaching and learning looks like in our schools and classrooms. The teacher as the sage on the stage simply cannot facilitate meaningful learning experiences for students in a standards and proficiency-based learning environment.

In this session, participants examine instructional design and delivery models that support standards and proficiency-based instructional, assessment and grading and learn how to develop an instructional plan to support students in meeting expectations.
