Workshop Full DescThis Restorative Practice training is completely online. This course consists of 2 hours of prior online coursework through Coassemble. Day 1 and Day 2 will be a 2 hour Zoom training. All humans are hardwired to connect, just as we need food, shelter and clothing, human beings also need strong and meaningful relationships to thrive (IIRP, 2015). Restorative Practices is an emerging social science that studies how to strengthen relationships between individuals as well as social connections with communities. School and district teams are encouraged to attend for effective implementation.

-Day 1 must be completed prior to day 2 in the same cohort.
Workshop ObjectivesParticipants will:
- Learn how to set high expectations while being supportive to students.
- Practice how to provide direct feedback and how to ask questions that foster accountability.
- Learn the most effective methods to resolve common conflicts.
- Practice facilitating restorative circles.
Assessment of Learning-Participants will have an opportunity to facilitate classroom circles.
