Workshop Objectives | Participants will:
1. Identify one of their school's student achievement goal to focus on this year and create a plan for supporting that goal. 2. Analyze the new IFC and compare with AASL and ISTE standards. 3. Summarize the importance of using the IFC for library instruction and how to communicate its value to teachers and administrators. 4. Develop a library lesson for a specific grade incorporating a benchmark skill. 5. Create a NoodleTools account and investigate features in order to assist students and teachers. |
Assessment of Learning | 1. Create a written plan for supporting one student achievement goal.
2. Participate in a group to compare / contrast the IFC with AASL and ISTE standards on chart paper. 3. Explain what part of the IFC to use for effectively communicating the IFC to stakeholders. 4. Create a lesson using a benchmark skill from the IFC for library instruction. 5. Create a NoodleTools account and share one insight learned by navigating through tabs. |
