-Assisted Kristen in understanding how to use resources to support instruction |
| Work Summary | -Asked Kristen to share how this school year has been going (What's going well, what's frustrating, what's not working, etc)
-Reviewed information Fluency Continuum with Kristen. Grade-level benchmark skills will help her in planning instruction and collaborating with teachers. She learned how to access digital version and graphic organizers can be edited in Word -Scaffold of Research skill booklet addresses computer science and digital fluency standards and is a great tool for student research -Reviewed Project Look Sharp's site and showed Kristen how the ready-to-go lessons are a fantastic tool for teaching media literacy |
| Assessment of Learning | -Kristen seemed relieved to know her approach to this position is on target. As a classroom teacher, she is looking for immediate feedback to validate efforts and I told her she needs to take the teacher hat off. This is a different position with a different focus than the classroom - maintaining inventory, purchase, marketing, advocating, collaborating, promoting, and teaching. It's never ending |
