| Work Summary | -Provided Kim with a printed copy of a draft Policy and Procedures (P & P) manual. We covered 40 topics and Kim made notes on the paper copy as I answered her questions, gave examples of relevancy, and explained the "why" behind each topic. Kim was provided with a Word version of a draft for her tp complete, save and present to her school admin team for review. Kim understands how this manual serves as an educational tool (for admin); an advocacy tool for what a school librarian does; and how it aids communication when dealing with student privacy, those questioning how resources are selected for and weeded from the library, and handling book challenges |
