Seminar Short Desc | Participants will get a brief overview of the Grades 3-5 New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS), engineering design process, 5E model, and Advancing STEM curriculum. |
Seminar Full Desc | During this day, each grade level will review their specific standards by engaging in activities about the three dimensions of the standards, experimenting with the engineering design process, and understanding the 5E Lesson Model, which is a best practice strategy for science instruction. Participants will also learn about the Advancing STEM curriculum and titles associated with their grade level. |
