| Work Summary | -Discussed library rules and how Amber and Rosemarie create a welcoming and affirming environment. What does that look like? Can it be improved?
-New furniture and classroom management strategies: I suggested that students come up with rules instead of the librarian -Amber and I helped Rosemarie weed 910's and a portion of 600s. Also helped with processing new books for shelves -Rosemarie explored ClearTouch upon prompting from me on what was available and how it can be used for instruction, assessment of learning, and student engagement (Great stuff)!) -Encouraged Rosemarie to start a competitive book club that will support the school's improved literacy goal. Have reached out to Carli Wright and requested she mentor Rosemarie in this |
