Seminar Short DescThis will be an informational session to prepare teachers, coordinators, and administrators for implementation of the new NYS Science Required Investigations.
Seminar Full DescAny teacher, coordinator, or administrator that would like information about the NYS Science Required Investigations is encouraged to attend. The most up-to-date information will be shared as well as recommendations for implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to look through the investigations as well as take a close look at the scoring rubrics.

Assessment of Learning-Questions and answers, vocabulary check, discussions, booking of kits
Evaluation Summary Notes-Frontloading the day with questions, having district representatives present
Needed Changes-Having copies of all the investigations
Next Steps-Seeing the rubric, having digital version of the life cycle, planning out when the investigations would be in their curriculum
-Plan for transfers and new students
