Evaluation Summary Notes-Connection with other librarians to discuss difficult issues in a safe environment.
-I very much enjoyed the collaboration portion where I was able to participate in online discussion with other librarians in the area. I also appreciate the asynchronous model as I got to work on the coursework at my own pace.
-Classroom management- behaviors, teacher/coworker relationships
-Questions and answers in the beginning of class, hearing from other teachers as well
-Online discussion boards
-Being able to share and brainstorm classroom management ideas with other librarians. Speaking with the author was a great experience! The day of events was also nicely broken up to be manageable. Lunch was delicious!
-As a long time English teacher, but someone who is just beginning the switch into the library, this was an excellent first conference for me. It allowed me to get a glimpse at library organization and situations
Needed Changes-More on Science of Reading in libraries
-Not as many written assignments
-Hand outs to be written on during the presentation
-Professional growth and getting different views and opinions is always appreciated.
-More zoom discussions during the readings instead of paper work
