| Seminar Objectives | -Participants shared an email with teachers letting them know facilitator would be available for the day to share Sora. Although facilitator did not have any teachers she was able to have a good chat with the ms/hs library aide about student behavior ad handbook policy |
| Work Summary | -Participant and facilitator discussed her work at Friendship and Whitesville. She is quite happy with working in both districts. The learning portion was the facilitator listening to participant and providing meaningful feedback. Facilitator also assisted her in troubleshooting access to NovelNY. A student was interested in downloading Sora and after he got the app, facilitator showed him some of the features available for personalizing and taking notes |

| Next Steps | -Facilitator will be emailing participant to follow up on a special ed student who was looking for a book. As a ninth grader, there were limited choices in the fiction section. If the student had an iPad or a phone facilitator could have helped her gain access to Sora where she would have had access to easier chapter books. We did find an easy chapter book and got it into her hands |
